Michel Terpins is a 40-year-old rally driver in the Brazilian Bull Sertoes Rally Team. During the 25th edition of the Bull Sertoes Rally, he emerged as one of the top five contenders. Despite experiencing mechanical problems, Michel, and his navigator, Maykel managed to win two of the rally’s Prototype 1 stages. As a result, the duo clichéd the fourth overall position in a time of 11:45:23. For this reason, Michel perceives this as a significant achievement of his rallying career.
Since his debut in 2002, Michel has accumulated 15 years of rally driving experience. Though he debuted in the motorcycle category, he later switched to cars in which his brother Rodrigo Terpins navigated him. Over the last four years, Michel has become Brazil’s most formidable Bull Sertoes Rally Team.
The Bull Sertoes Rally Team
Michel and Rodrigo Terpins (brothers) founded the Bull Sertoes Rally Team due to a shared passion for speed. The Bull Sertoes Rally Team is sponsored by several companies including Bull Sertoes, MEM Motorsport, Terpins & Cintra Advogados, 100% Eventos, Ohlins, Motul, and Xarla. The pair has participated in 14 editions of the Sertoes Rally as well as being participants of the Brazilian Championship. Currently, Michel is the reigning Brazilian Cross Country Champion.
Bull Sertoes Rally Team uses a modified T-Rex from MEM Motorsport as its preferred rally car. It features a V8 engine that consumes ethanol for fuel. The Team’s unique understanding of the T-Rex makes it a force to reckon with in rallying circles. As a result, rally enthusiasts regard him as a promising driver, though few realize the extent of his efforts.
That is why Michel always prepares for the unexpected. Being a rally driver, he relies on his experience, his navigator, and crew to plan the course of any rally. Combining these elements with his beloved T-Rex, Michel Terpins can achieve significant results on any rally terrain. At 40 years, Michel has eclipsed many of his expectation as well as the will and termination to take on any rally ground. With his highly capable navigator, Maykel, the duo continues to make Brazil proud. During a recent interview, Michel hailed his navigator as his most significant partner in rallying events.
