Kevin Seawright’s Expertise Is Changing The Mid-Atlantic

Kevin Seawright can claim many victories in his financial management journey to promote and help others with their own visions of self-improvement. His work has spanned both the public and private sectors and his leading financial and administrative operations have helped contribute to both economic growth and real estate development throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

According to Crunchbase, Kevin Seawright began his impressive financial management career working for both local and state organizations in the Baltimore, Maryland and Washington D.C. area. His efforts led to more than $400 million in public and private bond funds and more than $600 million in projects involving the construction of educational facilities.

Serving as deputy chief operating officer for the City of Baltimore Kevin managed operations for the city’s public school systems and was responsible for integrating Baltimore’s CitiStat software into the systems school operations. This resulted in monetary savings and service enhancement as well as presenting managers and users with data necessary as to what programs are succeeding and which ones need improvement.

In 2014 the Newark Community Economic Development Corporation (Newark CEDC) welcomed Kevin Seawright as it’s new CFO and Executive Vice-President to help the organization with it’s mission to help further economic and real estate development throughout the city. Kevin’s newest project started in 2015 when he founded RPS Solutions, LLC. RPS Solutions was formed as a joint partnership venture to help improve and grow home ownership in Baltimore through new construction and renovation projects of affordable housing in the city. “We deal a lot with first time home buyers at this point in the market.

We’re also trying to give home buyers the opportunity to have a home, and create stability in neighborhoods. We want people to be able to say they have something they’re very proud of” Kevin said on the Larry Young Morning Show out of Baltimore.

Kevin Seawright is an MBA and recipient of an executive leadership certification from the Notre Dame Mendoza School of Business.
